Privacy policy
Which personal data is processed when you visit this website, for what purpose, and what rights you have.
This English version is provided for convenience only. The German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally binding.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Hop Anh Tran, AnbridgeBöttgerstraße 22
22851 Norderstedt
Phone: +49 1556 6283194
Email: info@anbridge.de
No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so.
2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website, respond to your enquiries or comply with legal obligations. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual measures), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests). Data is deleted as soon as the purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
This website does not use any analytics or tracking tools, advertising or social media plugins, and does not load any content from third-party servers (no CDNs, embedded maps, videos or external fonts).
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by the controller on their own server. No external hosting provider is used.
Each time the website is accessed, the web server automatically processes the following data transmitted by your browser and stores it in log files (server log files):
- IP address and port of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested (URL)
- referrer URL (the previously visited page, if transmitted)
- browser and operating system used (user agent)
- HTTP status code of the response
- requested host name, HTTP method and protocol version
- other HTTP request headers sent by your browser (e.g. preferred language, accepted file and compression formats)
- details of the encrypted connection (e.g. TLS version, cipher suite, requested server name)
- size of the response sent and processing time
Cookies and credentials are not logged; this website does not set any cookies anyway.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in delivering the website without technical errors and in ensuring its stability and security, in particular detecting and preventing attacks and misuse. The log files are stored for 14 days and then deleted automatically. The same applies to the web server’s technical error logs, which may also contain the IP address. They are not combined with other data sources.
Domain and DNS
The domain anbridge.de and its DNS records are managed by netcup GmbH, Emmy-Noether-Straße 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany. netcup’s name servers only perform name resolution, i.e. they map the domain name to the IP address of our server. If that IP address changes, our server updates the DNS record automatically via netcup’s DNS API (dynamic DNS). The website itself is delivered exclusively from our own server; netcup has no access to its content or the server log files, and no proxy, tunnel or CDN service is used.
Email mailbox
Our business mailbox info@anbridge.de is operated with the email service Zoho Mail. The contracting entity for customers in Germany is Zoho Corporation GmbH, II. Hagen 7, 45127 Essen, Germany. Our account is set up in Zoho’s EU data centre, operated by Zoho Corporation B.V., Beneluxlaan 4B, 3527 HT Utrecht, the Netherlands. Emails you send us – including messages from the contact form – are received there and stored in data centres within the European Union.
We have concluded a data processing agreement (AVV) with Zoho pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Zoho processes the data only on our instructions and not for its own purposes.
According to Zoho, in exceptional cases, for example for technical support, the data may be accessed by employees of the group company Zoho Corporation Pvt. Ltd. in India. India is a third country without an adequacy decision of the European Commission. Such access is safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR; the data physically remains in the EU. You can request a copy of the Standard Contractual Clauses from us using the contact details in section 1.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your message relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in handling your enquiry and in reliable and secure email operation. The retention periods in section 6 apply.
4. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the content transmitted, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar and the padlock symbol. When encryption is active, the data you transmit cannot be read by third parties.
5. Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, contact details, content of your enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in responding to enquiries. Emails are stored in our mailbox operated with Zoho Mail (EU data centre) (see section 3, Email mailbox).
Contact via WhatsApp
You can optionally contact us via the messaging service WhatsApp. For users in Europe, the provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, a Meta company. The WhatsApp link on this website is a simple link: no WhatsApp content is loaded and no data is transmitted to WhatsApp when you visit this website. Only when you click the link is the wa.me website or the WhatsApp app opened; WhatsApp’s privacy terms apply to this.
If you message us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp processes your phone number, your profile name and communication metadata (e.g. the time of messages) under its own responsibility. According to WhatsApp, message content is end-to-end encrypted. A transfer of data by WhatsApp to third countries, in particular the USA, cannot be ruled out. Further information can be found in WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
We process your message and contact details in order to handle your request; the legal basis is as stated above in this section, and the storage period is as stated in section 6. Using WhatsApp is optional. If you do not wish to use WhatsApp, you can always reach us by email at info@anbridge.de or by phone.
6. Contact form
The contact form does not transmit any data to our server. When you submit it, it opens your email program with a pre-filled message to info@anbridge.de, which you review there and send yourself via your email provider. Your email provider’s privacy terms apply to this transmission. The pre-filled message contains the following details:
- name
- company (optional)
- email address
- phone number (optional)
- service of interest
- your message
To submit the form, you also need to confirm that you have taken note of the privacy notice.
When you send the email, we receive the details in our business mailbox info@anbridge.de and store them there in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract or at pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in handling enquiries addressed to us effectively.
The mailbox is operated on our behalf by Zoho Mail with data stored in the EU (see section 3, Email mailbox).
We delete your details once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and the purpose of storage no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under § 147 AO for business correspondence) require otherwise. In that case, the data is restricted until the retention period expires and then deleted.
The fields marked as required are necessary to process your enquiry. Without them, we cannot respond.
7. Fonts
The fonts used on this website (Inter and JetBrains Mono) are stored locally on our server and delivered from there. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other third-party servers.
8. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set any cookies and does not store any information in your device’s browser (e.g. no use of local storage or session storage). A cookie banner is therefore not required. A small, locally served JavaScript file is used solely to operate the mobile menu, to check form entries in your browser and to hand the completed form over to your email program (mailto link); no data is transmitted to us or to third parties in the process. The message only reaches us once you send the prepared email from your email program.
9. Your rights
With regard to your personal data, you have the following rights against us:
- right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- right to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
To exercise your rights, an informal message to info@anbridge.de or to the postal address above is sufficient.
10. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR). You may contact in particular the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or the authority responsible for us: Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD – Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany, www.datenschutzzentrum.de.
11. No automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), takes place.
12. Changes to this privacy policy
We will update this privacy policy if the website or legal requirements change. The version published here applies. Last updated: October 2026.
